France Papillon

Good Evening Crafty Friends

On Sunday I went to the CHSI Stitches Trade show.

I saw lots of my lovely fellow crafters from IndigoBlu, Hunkydory, Chocolate Baroque, Crafter's Companion, Imagination Crafts to name but a few.

I had a lovely chat with Lesley from Chocolate Baroque and met France Papillon, I did a workshop with France a couple of years ago at Art from the Heart so it was lovely to catch up.

She allowed me to record her demonstrating and here is the video.

I do hope that you enjoy and thank you for watching.

Fairy Dell

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

I had a wonderful day yesterday catching up with Kath and having a good crafty play day too.

Today is all about getting inky and creating with my stamps, distress oxides and making some cards.

Today sharing with you something I made at Gill's, we used wooden fairy door, wood and toadstools so I made this into a fairy dell.

Step by Step

1. Painted the door and frame with brown acrylic paint, once dry added a layer of crackle, I then finished off with a layer of cream paint and got a nice fine crackle on the door.
2. I added Prima wax to the toadstools and coloured the fairy with Promarkers.
3. I added the moss, hedgehog and door to the block of wood.
4. Decorated the door with flowers and leaves and adhered the fairy to the toad stool.
5. To finish off I added a welcome stone and gnome.

Sideshow

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

An early start for me this morning as got food shopping and then I am off to Kath's for our crafty play day.  I think it is going to be another Tim Holtz Chemistry kind of day!

I want to thank each and everyone of my lovely blogging and You Tube friends for helping me reach 4000 hours, unfortunately I didn't make the deadline and will loose my monetisation.  I am still keeping up with making my videos and as soon as I reach the 4000 hours I should get it back but who knows.

Today sharing a quick card I made using one of my new stamps from the Sideshow stamp set by Tim Holtz.

Step by Step

1. A5 white base card.
2. Using paper from my stash I stencilled letters using Distress Ink Vintage Photo, I then also stamped the numbers using the same ink.
3. On a tag I painted with mustard seed Distress Paint, once this was dry I stencilled the letters and stamped the numbers. I then stamped the image with black Versafine and embossed using clear embossing powder.
4. To finish off I added string to the top of the tag and adhered to base card.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
